About Cindy Carrier
Cindy Carrier is the Program Manager for Louisiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center (LA PTAC). The mission of PTAC is to assist Louisiana based businesses with government contracting. As of 2018, the LA PTAC center assisted clients with receiving $4.3 billion in government contracts. Carrier has been awarded the Fellows Award by National Association of Contract Management based in McLean, Virginia. Cindy was a Senior Buyer for General Dynamics working on the Superconducting Super Collider project. While with General Dynamics, she was responsible for contract administration totaling $26.5 million. She received her MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University and has thirty years experience in government procurement and contract administration. In 1998 she received her certification as Certified Contracting Assistance Specialist and LA PTAC was awarded “Outstanding Center” on national level. In 2019, Mrs. Carrier achieved her Certified Contracting Professional (CCP) via APTAC – the national PTAC organization.

This presentation will provide an overview of the Louisiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center (LA PTAC) and assistance services provided to all Louisiana businesses – who we are, what we do, and what is in it for YOU. Presentation will also provide several example success stories.
